A quilt is a wonderful gift for any occasion: Weddings, birthdays, anniversary, and graduation or just because. Signatures and pictures from friends and loved ones, scraps from old clothing or maybe some new quilting fabric, all can be used to make your traditional or contemporary quilts.

A well-made quilt is an heirloom to be enjoyed for many years and passed from generation to generation. With reasonable use a quilt can be expected to provide warmth and comfort for years to come.

Policies for sale quilts

Quilts ordered from Café Sewciety quilts for sale must be paid in full before the quilt is shipped. The quilt will be placed on hold for two weeks until payment is received. If payment is not received within the two week period, the quilt will be taken off hold and made available for others to purchase. All packages are shipped UPS and are insured.

Policies-Commission

I am available to do commission work for you. Commissions generally take from four weeks to eight months depending on previously commissioned work and the scale of your project. Before beginning a custom design for your commission I will need the following information from you:

• The size of your custom quilt
• When do you need the commission completed
• The materials you already have on hand (for example, fabrics, patterns, photos, t-shirts, etc…)
• Your budget for this commission

Once we have communicated and established a clear understanding of your needs and your wishes, a contract is written and signed.

A 50% deposit is required at the time the contract is signed. This will be deducted from the total cost of the commission and is non-refundable. The remaining 50% will be due, payable upon delivery of the work. Prices for commissions vary based on the size and complexity of the work. Shipping within the continental United States, packaging fees and insurance are an additional fee.
